Mamasubis
A small Spam Musubi catering business I created back in my senior year of high school. I mainly operated as a vendor via foldable TV dinner stands at shows around Los Angeles, and its blooming D.I.Y. scenes, alongside art shows, birthday parties, charity events, you name it.
The business first ran through word-of-mouth during high school lunch breaks, where I mainly made my family recipe to hungry friends, but the mere sight of them began to spark wider interest.
One special idea from a friend at a party to go more local and engrave myself into LA’s house show scene immediately attracted me to making the business something larger. I started with Indie and slowly worked into screamo and punk scenes.

Forelooked
Still a work in progress, Forelooked is a publication project I’m currently working on in hopes of creating photojournalistic stories pulled straight out of my immediate community of Highland Park and the larger Los Angeles area. (Anju, Monte Vista Shoe Repair)
In its very name, I use “forelooked” as a more positive end to the word “overlooked.”
